Butterfly didn't know she had splendid golden wings. Her caterpillar friends knew, but kept it a secret from her because they feared she would fly away. Butterfly came across a mirror which revealed to her the truth of who and what she really is. She helped the caterpillars discover their truth too by bringing them to the mirror.
