Gathered in this one volume is the profusion of eponymous and non-eponymous syndromes and eponymous diseases. It is hoped that this effort will in some measure not only give the reader an understanding of the syndromes and diseases listed herein, but also help to unravel the difficulties in communication concerning these entities, a problem implicit in the very proliferation of syndromes.
