Without doubt the UK’s premier heavy metal band, now active for more than 45 years, Iron Maiden continue to thrill, excite and delight with every new record they release, and every live performance they undertake.

This triple CD set celebrates the longevity, prowess and raw talent of Iron Maiden, and contains four superb live recordings from across the group’s career, all of which had been broadcast live at the time the concerts took place.

Kicking off, DISC ONE features Maiden’s show recorded at the Nakano Sunplaza, in Tokyo, Japan, on 24th May 1981, while original vocalist Paul Dianno was still fronting the group, and shortly after the release of Maiden’s second album, Killers.

DISC TWO contains two shows from 14 years later, in 1995, when the band were on their X Factor tour, their first with Blaze Bayely as vocalist, having just taken over from Bruce Dickinson, who was on hiatus. Recorded in Stockholm on the 1ST November ’95 and Glasgow on the 5th, despite some initial resistance from a few long-term fans at Bayley’s joining of Maiden, the shows on this tour were proof enough that he was a decent replacement for Dickinson during the period he remained up front.

DISC THREE of this set has Maiden’s gig from the Dynamo Open Air Festival, in Nijmegen, Netherlands, on 3rd June 2000, by which time Bruce Dickinson was back in the driving set, and Iron Maiden were on their Brave New World Tour.
