Wil Sterling is too tired to sleep and too exhausted to work. After being dumped and robbed by his girlfriend and deserted by his friends, he is contacted by the spirit of an unknown, murdered, Italian brother. This begins a search in Italy which reveals Wil is in line for a sizeable inheritance - but only if he can solve the murder.

He soon changes from a man crippled by insomnia, nightmares and sleep paralysis, into a man with a new love, new friends and a new purpose.
