This is the story of an American charter boat captain who, down on his luck, is forced to accept an impossible job - to skipper an unseaworthy boat with an inexperienced crew from Trinidad to Guadeloupe. He has to overcome storms, leaks, engine trouble and mutiny to achieve his mission.
