Kirsteen Lupton was born with a rare medical condition, meaning her childhood was spent undergoing painful surgery and battling for survival. Great Ormond Street gave her the chance of a normal life, and she has since worked tirelessly in raising funds for the hospital, being named Fundraiser of the Year at the 2006 Pride Of Britain Awards.
