The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies features 1 and a half hours of original score by Academy Award winner Howard Shore. One of today's most respected, honoured, and active composers and music conductors, Howard Shore previously worked with director Peter Jackson on The Lord of the Rings Trilogy. Additionally, it includes an original song entitled The Last Goodbye, written by Fran Walsh, Philippa Boyens and Billy Boyd, and performed by Billy Boyd.
