Pension Reform in South-Eastern Europe - Linking to Labor and Financial Market Reforms
Around the world, pension reform remains at the center of public debate. Its social, fiscal, and macroeconomic implications confront policy makers, practitioners, and academia with challenging questions. Ministers of finance, labors, and social affairs together with central bank governors presented country statements on vision and progress in pension, labor and financial sector reforms at the 'International Forum on Pension Reform' in Bled, Slovenia, June 7-9,2007. In their presentations, various reform needs of pension systems and of labor and financial markets were described. This book gathers the important discourse from this event in one place.
