Separated from his family for what appeared to be a routine business trip, Ash Bishop is awakened in his Chicago hotel room to screams, blaring sirens and a world devoid of all normalcy. Follow Ash in his perilous, cross-country journey fraught with virulent mobs, corrupt opportunistic insurgents, and swarms of evil arachnids Hell-bent on total world destruction. Ash must make it to the hills of northern New Mexico to find his wife, Della and their two children. But, Della has problems of her own.
