Pedro and Blanco are two horses, neglected and lonely, living on a sun-baked Spanish island in the 1970s. Their lives change dramatically when their owner, Farmer Pepe, buys a tractor and has no use for them anymore.
One day an old lady stops by their field and is shocked at their poor condition. She decides to help them to be fit and strong again. Their new life slowly begins to unfold. At midnight on Christmas Eve something magical happens that changes their lives completely. As they embark on their journey to a new life they adopt a little dog called Mouse who becomes a constant companion in all their adventures. And finally they decide to try and find Rosa, the little old lady who helped them. They have a big surprise waiting for them.
This magical tale demonstrates how one act of kindness can change so many lives for the better.
