My wife always said, "You are not a redneck " Well, when I was 2 or 3 a big horse stepped on my back. When I was older a mule bit me in the shoulder. They had to have 5 kids to open a new school. Me and Dardy Laack were only 4 years old, I had to walk a mile and one half up a steep hill on a gravel road. I picked half of everything that came out of the ground and one forth of everything that hung on trees. I always wore boots and drove a pick up truck everywhere when 12 years old - I drove a lot of trucks. We lived in Davie, Florida, a cow town where everyone carried a gun and another in their pick up truck. The prison cells were never locked. The prisoners went up to the restaurant at noon to eat and then probably bought a magazine on the way back to jail. They never thought of leaving, they didn't have their guns. There was never an armed robbery in the history of Davie, Florida. I spent half my life in honky tonk beer joints... if that ain't redneckish enough there ain't no such animal.
