This systematic introduction develops the methodological, conceptual and normative foundations of contemporary political philosophy in five chapters (biological foundations, political economy, basic concepts of the philosophy of law, theory of justice, institutional legitimacy). The material is arranged in teaching units which can be worked through easily and successfully in a classroom or in private study.
