From the first paragraph, you know this is not a lighthearted read, but one that will be filled with fright and might. Meredith Ryan is a cop, just like the author was in her former days, and thus the drama jumps off every page...I liked spending time with a woman who works in this risky arena, learning how she mixes her personal world with the constant threat of danger. ... I think you will enjoy reading By Force or Fear.

Wow, Hevron's done it again! The story line is so believable it's easy to feel as if you're actually living in the novel. New turns and twists just keep coming and the action never stops.

About the Author:Thonie Hevron's 35-year career in law enforcement fueled this story. She lives in Santa Rosa, California with her husband, Danny.
