Closely tied to VIAJES, First Edition, the Video Program contains two videos. "Viajemos por . . .," which corresponds to the "Viajemos por " cultural sections, takes students to the chapter's country or region of focus and provides background information on geography and climate, history and culture, and people and places all over the Spanish-speaking world. "A ver," which follows the lives of five students as they come together in a Spanish-speaking culture, models the vocabulary, structures, and communicative goals of the respective chapter. Content from the DVD is covered in the Student Activities Manual to help students recall and consider the information presented in both the cultural and linguistic segments of the DVD.
