A River Echoes in My Ministry: A 1700 Mile Journey in Search of Purpose Leads to Discovery
A journey down the Mississippi River from Minneapolis to New Orleans provides the author a time of reflection. As the river twists and turns Rosalie Heffelfinger Hall reviews the twists and turns of her life. While she and her husband are navigating the many locks and dodging submersed objects she becomes open to the call of God. The great granddaughter of two prominent Minneapolis families- Heffelfinger and Peavey- writes an autobiographical account of marriages, her children, and her family. As the river adventure ends she enters the seminary to become an Episcopal priest. This book is confession for the Rev. Rosalie Heffelfinger Hall.
