Bell and the others learn their new friend Talvi is fated to become a sacrifice, and upon her return to Beltane, her death is assured. Bell wants to change this cruel fate, but the Bheara Familia’s strength proves too much for him. Still, in order to save her, he borrows Takemikazuchi’s power and follows Talvi back to her country, Beltane. There, he finds the place of the sacrifice—the “Spring of Life,” a suspicious-looking marsh…
