All papers have been peer-reviewed. The conference allowed for a large variety of presentations of recent plasma research in a large domain from fusion to low energy plasma physics for fundamental as well as technological investigations. The conference was dedicated to scientists, engineers and students. Important scientific events in the field of recent plasma research were highlighted, as for example: Fusion programmes: diagnostics for ITER, the stellarator Wendelstein 7-X project, tokamak modelling with the participation of the European scientific community, the WEGA stellarator, inertial confinement fusion with a new approach (fast ignition), dynamics of edge modes, and fusion-reaction protons in the PF-360 facility. Plasma applications: Hall-effect plasma source for space propulsion, fluctuations at low and high frequencies in relation with the abnormal electron transport and general plasma turbulence in magnetized plasmas as well as recent results from dusty plasma research.
