Modification of the quality and quantity of dietary fat in childhood may decrease future risk for coronary heart disease. This prospective study evaluates the effects of a lowsaturated- fat, low-cholesterol diet on serum lipid concentrations and growth in healthy children between the age of 7 months and 3 years.
