Thirteen year old Noah, lives in a world impacted by climate change. While on a school field trip to the American Museum of Natural History in New York, he discovers a diorama that leads back to New Netherland. There, Noah meets an American Indian who tells him about a mythical white oak tree that might save the ailing trees of Noah's world.
