It began with Mehdi Haddab,magician of the electric oud, and his ambition to compare notes and share inspiration with the master of the malouf annabi, Sheikh Hamdi Benani. A high-calibre crew is brought on board. In this alliance it breathes easy, relaxes, takes on pop colors, treats itself to some bluesy riffs. This album is also a tribute to Hamdi Benani, who recently died of Covid 19.
