This survey shows the status and trends of the usage of Heath applications in the Finnish health care in the end of year 2007.This study is third of similar studies from years 2003 and 2005. These surveys included all service provides in public medical services and a representative sample of private medical services.

The results show that the usage of Health applications has greatly progressed throughout the entire healthcare delivery system during the successive study years. The current wide utilisation of the applications in the Finnish health care sector forms a solid base for future national archives and direct eHealth services to the citizens.
