German sculptor Stefan Wissel's (born 1960) minimalist sculptures are alterations and manipulations of familiar, often banal, objects and spaces. Based on his most recent works, this publication investigates the artist's creative process and demonstrates how Wissel works out the aesthetic potential of simple objects, revealing their inherent beauty.
