Personenlexikon zum deutschen Protestantismus 19191949
Text in German. The Lexicon of Persons is the first to make German-speaking Protestantism accessible in the first half of the 20th century. More than 1000 people who held a church office, a chair or a managerial position between 1919 and 1949 are presented in short biographies. There are also personalities who gained importance for Protestantism without an official background and were able to make an important contribution to its development. In addition, leading representatives from associations, the press, art, but also women who fought for a changed role in church and theology are taken into account about other activities.
