A very succinct description of Christian sacraments might be that they are sacred signs instituted by Christ, through which God bestows his grace or supernatural assistance upon us. This book looks in turn at three sacraments of healing: anointing and the laying on of hands, the ministry of reconciliation and Holy Communion.
