Climate change and the resulting impacts on humans and the biosphere are among the most pressing problem of the 21st century, yet most individuals, be they journalists, politicians and policy makers, business and industry, NGOs, activists or students and academics who are not climate specialists have only a fragmented knowledge of the climate system and how it works and of the differences between natural and human induced climate change.
