This latest book in the Polish Wings series tells the story of the Russian MiG-29 jet aircraft in the Polish Air Force during the cold war and beyond. The MiG-29 was a fourth generation fighter jet aircraft designed in the Soviet Union for an air superiority role in the late 1980s. This book documents in detail the acquisition and operations of these Russian aircraft in Poland right up to the present day (Poland is the biggest NATO user of this aircraft), and is illustrated with many previously unpublished photographs. Specially commissioned artwork depicts the colour schemes and markings of the aircraft deployed.
