This volume covers several aspects of the astrophysics of collapsed bodies, both isolated (supernova remnants, radio pulsars, cooling neutron stars, soft-gamma repeaters and anomalous X-ray pulsars) and in binary systems (accreting millisecond pulsars, X-ray pulsars, low-mass X-ray binaries).
