Between 1953-57, John Betjeman read a series of poems on the BBC's West of England Home Service. This is a collection of 26 of those poems, although due to haphazard record keeping, there may be many more. Gardner explains the provenance of the poems and why they are so important, particularly within the Betjamin community as many of the poems were previously unknown.
