Spanish photographer Cristina Garcia Rodero (born 1949) documents religious and folkloric rituals. The black-and-white photographs collected in this volume were taken in Northern Spain's region of Galicia, where Garcia Rodero documented local festivities, such as the San Xulian de Gulians (Pontevedra) carnival, revering the devotional aspects of social culture.
