Seurat A Sunday on La Grande Jatte - 1884 Keepsake Box
Galison's lovely Sunday on La Grande Jatte cards reproduce Seurat's pointillist masterpiece, now in the Art Institute of Chicago. The painting itself is enormous, over 6 feet tall and 10 feet wide and Seurat worked on it for over two years. The sturdy decorative box holds 16 note cards in 4 designs and 17 envelopes neatly and when the cards have been sent, it's great for storing all sorts of little things - from extra buttons to seashells.
Other primary creator: Georges Seurat
