Humanistische Traumatherapie in der Praxis
According to the humanistic understanding, traumatic stress consequences are attempts to cope with adverse life events as constructively as possible. Humanistic therapy methods therefore always start with the strength and creativity to survive. In dialogue with those affected, insights into their respective trauma biographies are gained. A central role in the healing process is also played by whether those affected receive recognition instead of exclusion, devaluation and taboos. This implies consistent relationship orientation in the therapy process. Lifelong traumatic experiences are subject to a process character. Humanistic procedures take up the associated development potential of the client in the therapeutic process. From the pool of six different humanistic methods, the volume provides a variety of suggestions for therapeutic practice.
