Over 1,200 women have gone missing along the Highway of Tears, in northern British Columbia. One of these women goes missing on her way home from work, travelling to see her daughter. On a motorcycle trip to Alaska, retired Detective Norm Strom meets the woman before she goes missing and then helps the RCMP in the search to find her.
