The purpose of this book is to provide a rather concise analysis and description of Swedish international arbitration law as of 30 June 2011, thereby making such information more readily available to arbitrators, counsel and other professionals acting in Swedish international arbitral proceedings. The goal has been that the book should cover those areas of arbitration law that such professionals reasonably could expect to be informed about.
Following an application process among many skilled Swedish arbitration lawyers, the executive committee of the Swedish Arbitration Association selected four lawyers from four different law firms, Fredrik Andersson of Mannheimer Swartling, Therese Isaksson of Advokatfirman Lindahl, Marcus Johansson of Gernandt & Danielsson Advokatbyrå and Ola Nilsson of White & Case to co-author the book under the editorship of Johnny Herre.
