Nato's Northern Allies: The National Security Policies of Belgium, the Netherlands, Norway and Denmark
Developments within the smaller Northern European members of the Alliance are having a greater and greater impact on the way the Alliance as a whole is able to approach a whole range of current policy dilemmas. This book explores the identified trend of 'decreasing marginality' of these Allies, and its implications for the Alliance during the years ahead. It studies the national security policy outlooks in Belgium, the Netherlands, Norway and Denmark, with a particular accent on the ways in which domestic conditions will influence the security policy choices of these countries.
