Sherrin was the only Memorial Service correspondent, reviewing the services of the infamous such as Sir Denis Thatcher, Alistair Cooke, Sir John Mills and Sir Peter Ustinov. Selected and introduced by Victoria Mather, a friend and colleague of Sherrin, who died in 2007.
