Sacred Ecology is a pioneering study of the complex system of relationships between the earth and its inhabitants. In its exploration of how humans can develop a more acceptable relationship with the environment that supports them, it examines bodies of knowledge held by indigenous peoples around the world and asks how we can absorb and utilize such knowledge.
