During a time when the world seemed to forget IRAQ thousands of people were dying. Many dreamed of escape to a free country. Ahmed was in the military which even they and there families were not safe. When it became apparent the choice was leave Iraq or die, Ahmed escaped, the tyrranical clutches of Saddam Hussein. He lived through times that as americans we cannot comprehend at all. He made it to Europe where he settled into a refugee center. This is Ahmed's story.
