Somewhere along John's journey, along pops Anubis, the Egyptian jackal-headed god and the rather regal and proud General it carries within it, so that soon as John gets wind of Anubis and it's passenger, things start to happen and he has little choice but to proceed into a seeming endless journey to stay alive. Finally, he must not only comprehend everything about Anubis and the General, but he must also understand the other reason why he had been saved from his accident; he must take on a mission that would come to affect millions.
