Through a recounting of the life of Theodore Frelinghuysen, the author demonstrates the shining example of the power of the gospel to illuminate the many paths of service that Christians can be encouraged to follow, as in Frelinghuysen's career of public service, which encompassed the position of Attorney General of New Jersey, U.S. Senator and vice presidential candidate with Henry Clay.
