Walt Whitman and Other Poems is the most recent work of poet and playwright Dic Edwards. It is his first collection. The poems here have been described by leading poet Robert Minhinnick (editor of Poetry Wales) as displaying 'tremendous power' and 'original imagery'.
Edwards' other work includes the plays Casanova Undone, Wittgenstein's Daughter, Utah Blue, Solitude, Franco's Bastard and The Pimp. He also wrote the libretto for the contraversial Keith Burstein opera Manifest Destiny.
