The Additional Science Teacher Files & CD-ROM

The Teacher Guides work seamlessly together with the Students Book and ActiveTeach to offer you a fully supported and differentiated solution to help you deliver Edexcel 360Science successfully from your first day of teaching.  The Teacher Guide contains all the lesson plans, lesson ideas, coursework support and answers that you need.  It provides detailed information for each topic, using the following pattern:

Introduction -This gives a brief overview of the topic and sets out the learning objectives.

Edexcel Lesson scheme overview - This lists the learning outcomes from the specification covered in each lesson. It also states the route (concept/context) followed in the learning material for this topic.

Notes for each double-page section - The notes are laid out along the lines of a lesson plan so that you can incorporate the material easily into your teaching.The following features are included for each double-page section:

• a list of the worksheets available in the Copymaster File
• learning objectives
• key words
• ideas for a starter activity
• suggestions for learning activities
• points to note (e.g. common areas of confusion, more detailed notes on the science in the topic, etc.)
• suggestions for plenary activities
• ideas for additional homework or research activities
• a guide to running practicals and/or demonstrations, including apparatus list, safety points and timing

Answers to questions - Answers are provided for the questions given in the Students' Book and Copymaster File.
