A Rapid Marine Biodiversity Assessment of the Abrolhos Bank, Bahia, Brazil
This volume presents the results of a marine biological assessment in the shallow waters of the northern Abrolhos Bank, located off the southern coast of Bahia in Brazil, a region that supports the richest coral reef fauna in the southern Atlantic. The survey, conducted by the Center for Applied Biodiversity Science, recorded nearly 1,300 species, including seventeen mollusk and one fish species new to science, and identified conservation priorities for the region.
