An illustrated biography about Bach's childhood and how he came to become a great composer. The accompanying CD contains recordings of some of his most famous works as well as the narration of the story.
Bach was born into a family of many musicians-composers, singers, and instrumentalists. At the age of 12, he could play the harpsichord, the organ, the violin, and the viola. Children who are curious about how musical instruments are crafted, and who may have wondered how pieces of wood is needed to make a violin, will find that they may have much in common with Bach.
