Japanese metal legend DIR EN GREY is back. After releasing the last album ARCHE in 2014 the band has made fans wait quite a while for some new songs. And they wouldn’t be disappointed. DIR EN GREY finally announced the release of their new studio-album “The Insulated World”. The album is to contain 13 songs in total, including the fan-favorite “Utafumi”, their new single “Ningen wo kaburu” and the, with the current release of the video not only sound-wise but also visual, masterpiece “Ranunculus”.

With “The Insulated World” DIR EN GREY once more proof that it is one of the big players in metalheaven and that, with its ever-developing style, the band is able to deliver a new experience to old and new fans alike.

Fans getting the EU version can also enjoy a special bonus track; With the song “Kigan”, included on the album “Kisou” in 2002 for the first time, DIR EN GREY is bringing back one of the classics of their long band history, wrapped in their new style.
