This bilingual children’s book is based on Eritrean folklore. Dessale, who has previously worked a lot in the field of oral traditions, tries to present the story as close as it had been told for generations. Being a story of animals, the main characters are a lamb that grows seven horns, an ape, a donkey, and a lion. It is illustrated by the skilful Filipino artist Mario with computer-generated illustrations, and published in hard cover.
