This book is an easy to read yet substantive introduction to cultural anthropology. It uses many different cultures and societies as vivid examples of the concepts being discussed. Its simple and engaging style is designed to spark consideration and discussion. Though comparatively brief in length, it covers all of the basics in a very accessible manner and offers depth with a variety of ethnographic case studies. Additional ethnographies can be integrated very easily with this text.
