The Next Mile initiative is a collaborative effort among some of the nation's most experienced mission experts to bring about lasting change before, during and after a short-term mission experience.A successful short-term mission experience is one that brings about a long-term commitment to God's purpose in the participants' lives.The Next Mile was birthed through the efforts of the National Network of Youth Ministries (NNYM) Missions Affinity Network. Over 30 national and international church organizations, agencies and mission leaders, representing hundres of thousands of short-termers joined together in support of this project's development.
