This is a collection of 64 very short stories, most of which are very funny, from my twenty years in the pest control business in South Africa and the UK. Rats and cockroaches are immune to political changes and financial meltdowns - they just get on with the job of creating havoc! The pest controllers job is to try and stay one step ahead of the pests but things can and do go wrong and this book is about those times when things didn't quite go according to plan! The book also gives an unusual insight into the culture and attitudes in South Africa and shows that whether you are a pest controller in the UK or South Africa, you are pretty much cut from the same cloth.
