This is a description of the fieldwork that made up the "East Brittany Survey", undertaken between 1982 and 1988. Fieldwalking and excavation led to discoveries concerning pottery, ceramic bricks and tiles, flint and prehistoric worked stone, scatters of building stone and a dating framework for standing buildings. The book concludes with information on useful strategies for field studies.
