Clothing comfort is one of the most important attributes of textile materials. A basic understanding of comfort aspects of textile materials is extremely useful for fibre, yarn and fabric manufacturer, researcher, garment designer, processing industries, garment houses, users of the fabrics for speciality applications and all others related with textile and garment industries. Understanding of interrelationship between fibre material, yarn structure, fabric structure, transmission characteristics (air, heat and moisture) and tactile aspects of textile materials on thermo-psychological and neurophysiological processes of clothing comfort will be extremely helpful for engineering of clothing for specific applications.
